Please read the project program in summary below here
Ignorance, diseases and poverty are major problems hindered total human developments. In order to conquer these problems, community members need to liberate by themselves. Fewer programs on early childhood care and education to community, education sector and community in general is not sufficient to the number of children who are enrolling to primary school education. eg in year 2007 out of 2,261,600 population of children aged (5 – 6) only 33.3% of children enrolled were enrolled to pre-school and 66.7% they didn’t attend (source BEST 2003 -2007 pg 8). The physical environments are also a threat, vulnerable children such as orphans, street children and very disadvantaged children are increasing. ECOLI is dedicated in improving care and education in early childhood years where the foundations of adulthood laid. This is the responsibility of every one of us. Everybody in community has a role to play, including children themselves. ECOLI will achieve her goal through conducting social economic research, capacity building on Early Childhood Care and Developments (ECCD) issues to children caretakers, teachers and other stakeholders. More effort is needed to create the conditions in which children are respected and cared for, where they learn, grow, and thrive, become confident, creative, and critical citizens for the fulfillment of their rights, and this is essential for the country's vitality. By training and equipping children caretakers, teachers and other stakeholders with knowledge and skills on children care, education and development matters, lobbying and advocacy for children developments policy and policies practices as the best way of linking marginalized children to attain education and their basic rights.
This project, ECOLI will empower children caretakers, teachers and other stakeholders to engage with government in the process of fighting against main three development hindrance problems i.e. poverty, ignorance, and diseases in the cycle of human life. Through linking and sharing with them experiences, best practices and ways forward to both governmental and non governmental actors, implementing shared and participatory activities planed to enable achievements and developments of children from grassroots to national level. By doing so, both government and community stakeholders will understand the magnitude pertaining to children’s developments in the community.
Total number of ten thousand four hundred and ten (10,410) beneficiaries will benefit directly.
In order to meet goal and objectives of this project, and for efficiency and effectiveness of the project implementation, funds is needed to cover administration costs, programs implementation, such as socio economic research, capacity building, lobbying and advocacy issues, tracking, monitoring, evaluation and institutional capacity building. Due to limit of fund, ECOLI has planned the unique fund raising style and creative budgeting methodologies to implement her project ECOLI’s project operation budget will depend on three resource manners. Those include Volunteering, kind things contribution and funds contribution.
