Community sensitization project on the national roll out of malaria new treatment policy, with an overall objective to reach the entire communities with awareness activities. The project covers the district of Arusha, Arumeru and Karatu districts.
Web Application

Each NGO will have its own web pages. Within those pages, the members can:
- describe their misssion statement
- list their projects
- how case their partners
- and many more features.
Capacity Building

Policy Simplification

Identified and collected various development policies and other relevant information for the purpose of simplification. The objective is to help the public understands and monitor their implementation processes. The work is in progress.
Facilitation of District-NGO thematic Networks

Actively participated in the facilitation and formation of District NGO-thematic Networks including Arusha Education Network (AEN), Regional and District Coalition of NGOs for Civic Education in Tanzania (RDCCE) and act as lead organization. Other included Arumeru NGO Network (AMENGONET), Karatu NGO Network (KANGONET).
Debt Cancellation Campain

In April, 2005, the Network has organized and conducted 2-day campaign on Debt cancellation for developing countries including Tanzania. The campaign was undertaken by ANGONET and HAKIKAZI and co-rdinated by Action Aid Tanzania office. The purpose was to generate views and opinions from the people of the poor that are being marginalized for quite a long time The generated views were submitted to G8 Summit for influencing a positive change. Capacity Training Assessment

Undertaken capacity/training needs assessment for six District NGO Networks in February 2006. Moreover, a consultative meeting was held to validate the identified needs. See report for details.
Public dialog on MKUKUTA

It has successfully conducted public policy dialogue focusing on MKUKUTA for different stakeholders including vulnerable groups in March, 2006. Others included policy review and analysis at district/regional and national levels. The dialogues helped public understands about MKUKUTA as well as their roles and responsibilities and that of government in the implementation processes. The dialogue was undertaken to establish the performance of National Strategy for Growth and Poverty Reduction (NSGPR) by discussing its implementation/practices, achievement and challenges/gaps.
Property and Business Formalization Consulation

Organized and implemented public consultation on Property and Business Formalization program-PBF, commonly known as MKURABITA. The consultation was conducted in November, 2006, Manyara region and was attended by over 50 different stakeholders including ordinary citizens. The intention was to articulate and collect views/ideas on how best people can get out of poverty. More details see report
